Company History

CommLab India was founded by RK Prasad and Ayesha Habeeb Omer in the year 2000 with its head office in Hyderabad, India. It now has an office in the US as well.

We have been in the business of eLearning for the last eleven years and have a host of Fortune 500 companies as our clients.

Our core business is LEARNING and CONSULTING across various industries and domains. In 2000, we started as a corporate training & development organization, with 3 employees who used to wear different hats depending on the need of the hour. We soon widened our scope to include eLearning. Today CommLab India's main services are Custom eLearning Development, Translation and Localization of Courses, and Learning Management System Integration. The company has customers in US, Canada, Europe and Australia. Our USP is as always:

Today, we have 80 employees who are all specialists in their respective functional areas.

Let's look at the milestones in CommLab's growth since 2000.

  • In 2001, CommLab got its first client, The Learning Network, USA, a software services company that offers learning management systems. CommLab's first payment was a princely $15.36 as royalty for a course we developed and hosted on their LMS.
  • From then on, operations expanded and in 2002, CommLab completed a large eLearning course on "Responsibilities and Accountabilities" for the Canadian Government.
  • In 2003, CommLab got its first end user – George Washington University, for which we have developed many courses in tourism management and continue till today.
  • In later years CommLab expanded its customer base to Canada, UK and Australia. In 2007, CommLab started working for more than 10 Fortune 500 customers catering to their training needs.
  • In 2010-2011, CommLab crossed the million dollar mark in Sales.
  • In early 2011, CommLab established its US office.
  • In mid-2011, CommLab implemented Six Sigma.
