Unique Approach To eLearning Delivery

Since its inception in 2000, CommLab India has always tried to focus its energies to understand the clients' requirements and deliver the most appropriate solution. This single-minded approach has resulted in a number of satisfied clients; most of them being market leaders in their own industries.

Being in India and not having representations overseas (by choice) till recently made us think more creatively in order to interact with our clients, all of them outside India.

We make maximum use of communication technology and put in additional work hours to accommodate time zone differences. This has resulted in a very harmonious client engagement process.

Learner-Centric Approach to Instructional Design

Our philosophy is learner-centric. We start with an in-depth understanding of the training needs and nature of the audience. We integrate ourselves into our customers' learning environment - both physical and technological.

Our learning objectives are performance-based (Robert Mager's principles of setting instructional objectives) and reflect measurability (Benjamin Bloom's Taxonomy).

Benjamin Bloom's Taxonomy

Our course design is based on a learning cycle which typically has four stages:

  • Review: Sets the context, provides an overview and helps the learner bridge prior knowledge.
  • Learning: Is the Information Transfer or Knowledge Acquisition phase.
  • Application: Consists of case studies, best practices or applied exercises.
  • Adaptation: Provides direction and support to help the learner transfer the newly acquired knowledge to his or her own performance and context needs.
