Effective Project Management for Quality eLearning on Time

Working with Fortune 500 clients and meeting their exacting standards in terms of quality and timelines, has honed our project management skills. We are proficient in using project management software and have qualified managers on our rolls.

We follow a structured and well-defined Project Management Methodology to establish and manage projects, starting with project planning, all the way to project closure. Right at the outset of any project, we create and maintain a project plan that defines all project activities and timelines. We also closely monitor and control projects so that there is a clear understanding of progress and so that corrective action can be taken when the project's performance doesn't match the project plan. We also have sound communication plans in place to ensure that the relevant stakeholders perform their tasks in a coordinated and timely manner. Our project management enables us to consistently maintain the scope, budget, effort and quality metrics decided upon and put risk mitigation strategies in place. We meet preset deliverables and timelines by implementing the following:

Documented Production Process

At CommLab India, we follow a well-documented production process. This process has evolved over 11 years of experience in developing custom eLearning content. The process is so rigorously implemented that we have a fulltime executive just to ensure process compliance.

Quality Management System

We define the quality parameters right at the time of preparing the Analysis-Design Document, which is based on your requirements.

Online Bug Tracking System

We have an online bug tracking system software that the project team uses to post bugs. The system automatically sends out an email to the person concerned. Once the bug is closed, the system once again sends out an email indicating that the non-compliance is closed. This system can be used by our clients too.

Continuous Improvement Process

On completion of a project, the following are analyzed:
  • Interim feedback and complaints or non-compliances, if any, received from the client.
  • Internal meeting and documented learning from the team involved.
  • Final feedback from the client feedback form.

This learning is ploughed back into the procedures and systems as a means of continual improvement.
