The research identified the factors to be considered by universities before venturing into eLearning. These factors are summarized into five categories - sociological, environments, financial, technological and content.
After examining the factors, a checklist is prepared for the benefit of newcomers who wish to start eLearning. This checklist will serve as a self-assessment tool to check the readiness of universities to venture into eLearning.
