A global risk intelligence firm operating across 40+ countries needed to rapidly upskill banking professionals on digital lending, risk management, fraud prevention, and compliance. They had webinar recordings – functional, but not built for scalable, self-paced learning.
CommLab India converted 3 webinar recordings into 65 videos using Synthesia and embedded them in interactive eLearning courses developed in Articulate Storyline. The project was completed in 28 weeks by a team of 8 – earning a perfect score in the client's post-project survey.

Rapidly Upskill Banking Professionals Across a Complex, Global Audience – Without Rebuilding from Scratch
The client's training content existed in the webinar format – valuable subject matter, but not designed for self-paced learning or global distribution. The core challenge:
- Banking professionals across credit assessment, risk management, fraud prevention, compliance, customer onboarding, and lending operations needed the training
- Partner banks, fintechs, and third-party lending service providers were also part of the audience
- Content needed to be engaging, not just a recorded video
- French-speaking learners required translated versions
- Videos had to remain updateable without requiring course republishing each time
A direct conversion – video-to-video – would not have solved these problems. An interactive learning experience was needed.

CommLab India assembled a team of 6 developers and 2 instructional designers to convert three webinar recordings into structured eLearning courses built in Articulate Storyline, with Synthesia AI-generated videos and embedded Vimeo hosting.
The core approach: create a consistent learning experience across each program. Every module followed the same structure – Synthesia video → quiz or knowledge check → next topic – so learners always knew what to expect and could pace themselves accordingly.
Key decisions that shaped the solution:
Synthesia AI video production: Videos were produced using Synthesia AI voices, guided by client scripts. This eliminated recording and studio costs while enabling rapid multilingual output.
French localization via AI Video Translator: All 65 videos were translated into French using Synthesia's AI Video Translator – efficiently, without restarting production.
Vimeo-hosted video integration: Videos were embedded via Vimeo into Articulate Storyline courses. This means the client can update video content in the future without redeveloping or republishing courses – a critical operational benefit for fast-changing subject areas like digital lending.
Knowledge reinforcement: Every video was followed by a quiz or knowledge-check activity, ensuring learners processed and retained information before moving forward.
Instructional design enhancements: Rather than straight narration, each video was enhanced with relevant icons, visual representations, and on-screen text to surface key concepts at the right moments.
