Senior Instructional Designer

Job Description:

As a Senior Instructional Designer, you will be responsible to understand clients’ requirements, identify learning needs, and design and develop effective learning solutions for WBTs, ILTs, and VILTs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand client content and requirements and propose the best possible learning solutions and POCs (Proof of Concepts)
  • Create strategy documents, learning objectives, and content outlines
  • Develop a storyboard with highly impactful and suitable designs, conversational narration, and effective assessments
  • Follow standards, branding, and guidelines provided for projects
  • Ensure high quality and adherence to signed-off designs of the learning solution
  • Ensure quality assurance of the learning solutions to meet the client’s requirement
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with clients, stakeholders, SMEs, and internal team
  • Work on multiple projects and demonstrate effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Groom instructional designers in the team and ensure the quality output

Candidate Profile:

  • 2 + years of experience in instructional design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of ID theories and practices (content chunking & parallelism) and ability to apply them
  • Expert in PowerPoint and Word and ability to design Storyboards
  • Sound understanding of content development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, etc.
  • Independently develop entry and advanced level technical and non-technical courses
  • Showcase creativity in designing a variety of training products for different geographies and target audience
  • Should be accountable for deliverables and be flexible to work during tight timelines
  • Ability to manage 2-3 members and work with collaboration
